In both design and construction, this model is inspired by authentic medieval tents. Thanks to its rectangular shape, double-pointed roof and nostalgic canopy, this spacious medieval tent transports you into past centuries. It is the perfect equipment for a medieval market, a knightly event, or a LARP festival. It can also be used as a sleeping tent – offering space for up to 8 people. The sidewalls are removable, allowing you to use the tent as a beautiful open pavilion.

This high-quality knight’s tent stands out not only for its breathtaking design featuring decorative valances. The material itself is exceptional: the canvas is made entirely of pure cotton with an exclusive twill weave, making it extremely tear-resistant and almost completely waterproof. This results in excellent durability and a long lifespan.

Wide range of colours – high-quality impregnation

The upper tent section is available in multiple colour variations. The wide block stripes emphasise the historical look. The cotton canvas is professionally impregnated, ensuring long-term protection against moisture, mould and rot.

This high-quality product is specifically designed for the free-standing Herbort frame (optional). You can purchase it directly here. Order the full setup easily and enjoy a premium medieval tent that will last for many years.

The 4 x 6 m Herbort tent shows how comfortable living could be in the Middle Ages. Ideal for families, it allows different areas to be set up without losing any space. It is also frequently used as a market stall for merchants. The possibilities for arrangement are virtually endless.

Using the optional frame allows you to set up the tent even in limited market spaces. It stands perfectly well on asphalt too. In this case, storm guy lines are recommended!

Important notes

Cotton is a natural material; therefore tolerances of 3–5% are possible.
Pole sets: Optional or included poles may need shortening due to tolerances. The same applies to optional frames. Remember: poles must be adjusted to the tent, never the tent to the poles. Damage caused by overtension is not covered by warranty.
Guy ropes: The tent must be tensioned so that the ropes retain a little slack. Over-tightening can damage the tent. Damage resulting from incorrect guying is not covered by warranty.

Note regarding cotton

Cotton is a natural material that can vary in dimensions depending on the humidity. A deviation of 3-5% from the specified dimensions is within the tolerance range.

Instructions for Tensioning

Correct tensioning is crucial for the stability and durability of your tent. Always tension the ropes in a straight line with the roof – an incorrect angle creates leverage that can cause the fabric to tear or the eyelets to break. Avoid excessive tension: Natural materials expand and contract, and permanent over-tensioning damages the fabric. You can find more information in our information sheet.
